An order at the counter fried fish shack on the north western border of Malibu near point Mugu. I have been coming here since I was a little kid because the drive to it is almost unbeatable. It's right across from the water on the PCH and everything surrounding it is truly beautiful. They have a parking lot attached for free parking and also street parking is easy to find in this area. It's not nearly as crowded as other parts of Malibu because of its location, so the traffic doesn't get heavy. When entering you choose your drink from many different refrigerators. They have everything from soda to beer to wine and everything in between. Next you order at the counter and they call your number, you grab your food, and then you can sit inside or out to enjoy. The portion sizes are large but the food is not the best that I've had but is still pretty good. There are a few other fried fish spots around LA that I prefer more but this is the best location of all the fried fish restaurants. For my dinner I decided to order the Fish & Shrimp Combo and thought it was pretty good. The fish is Pollock and quite large. The shrimp was quite small but still had some great flavor. Their cocktail sauce is especially great. I couldn't get enough of it. Overall it's worth the visit at least once for everybody because of how famous it is. The journey getting there is probably my favorite part and honestly I plan to be back in the future to try different items.

Before I moved to the Midwest, I was staying in Malibu for a little bit and one of my favorite places to get some seafood was Neptune net and I think that everybody else shares the same feeling of this place it's a classic Malibu spot all the surfers go there the bikers and the hot models want to get some fresh shrimp. I used to go there with all my friends when I was younger and then also Recently it's definitely go to place before going out with some friends are on a hot summer day They got two sections. The first section is more like where you order your fried shrimp and your crabcakes and stuff like that and then on the other side oh and also did I mention they sell alcohol so they have pictures they have bottled beer they have wine. They have all kinds of sodas, and the other side of the entry is for fresh fish like if you're gonna get ceviche or you gonna get fresh shrimp that you want to eat. Surfs up ‍

It was pretty good. We went here for my husband's birthday, he wanted to come here because of the fast and the furious movie. Onion rings were super good & chili cheese fries are mid Great Customer Service, we also bought a hoodie and it was $70, a little pricey. You are super close to the beach, literally across the street

They say it's about the journey not the destination, but this place is all about the location location location. Amazing views of the pacific across PCH- oh look there's a whale! On the inside there's a wall of fridges filled with endless possibilities. From Nesquik to local IPAs, even the most pickiest customer will find the beverage to cure their thirst. If you came for seafood, this isn't the place. JK they have it all as well. We got the fish and chips, crab cake and calamari. The FCCCC if you will. Honestly the food isn't too much to talk about, but the beachside conversations will flow just as rich as the tartar and cocktail sauce from the condiment bar. Be warned this is a biker bar, but boy can they ride. Vibes quenched.

If you're a local, Neptunes Net is somewhat of a legendary and if your a local you know to expect. This place is a place you go to for the vibe and ambiance. Food is incredible, it is what you expect well done fried seafood and its delicious. You want surfer vibes well that's what this is. It is right next to the beach and you often get beautiful views and a fun atmosphere while sitting out on the patio. I usually change up what i get but for this visit got the seafood basket with shrimp and calamari, has fries. Ordered onion rings and clam chowder bread bowl. Everything was awesome.

Great view and very good seafood. If you're in the mood for some great fried seafood this is the place. We got the Neptune sampler which is probably enough food for 3 people. It had a little of everything, fish, shrimp, scallops, clams, calamari, and a crab cake. Delicious! Service was friendly and fast.

Not only is Neptune's Net known as being a biker bar and also a lowkey celebrity food spot, but let me take you back to 2018. Fellow Bravo-holics, this is where a Mr Jax Taylor from Vanderpump Rules reformed his bad boy ways and proposed to Beer-Cheese-Brittany. Yep, a true historical landmark in Malibu! hehe :) iykyk. Neptune's Net is along the PCH with beautiful views, and thankfully a pretty well sized parking lot. There is a lot of parking just for motorcycles, too. There are some other seafood spots along the PCH and I really like Neptune's Net as everything seems to run much more efficiently and quickly. I was there on a beautiful Saturday over the weekend at peak lunch times and never saw the line get toooooo crazy. Customers most definitely appreciate the minimal waits here. I didn't find their prices offensive at all and went with just a classic fish & chips to try on my first visit. The fish was so darn juicy and the outer deep frying was tasty, as well. My very tiny qualm is the outer shell doesn't stay on very well and kept sliding off before I could finish my protein. They use the same batter as they did on my friend's shrimp whereas usually fish has a lighter deep frying. It was still delicious though. But that aside, their fries were really good and the tartar sauce was also stellar. If you are a beer drinker, you are going to be in heaven. As a retired beer chick, I envied all the options along their huge wall of coolers. I really liked Neptune's Net a lot and would love to take out of town people here. Of course it's a beautiful drive up from LA and just a fun experience!
